Tuning a car is a delicate thing. Whether it’s an ECU remap, a new turbo or a full-on stage three tuning, you need to make sure each component is working at optimal efficiency under careful supervision of a sufficiently smart engine management system. After all, you’re looking to create a symphony and that’s hard to do when one of the instruments is off. That’s why all of our products are designed and built in-house. Professional tuning requires a steady hand and we want to be solely responsible for getting the most out of your car.

Because most modern engines are heavily restricted due to emission regulations, an ECU remap or installation of an engine control unit is always the first step towards unlocking the performance your BMW M3 G80 480hp is capable of. However, as our name implies, we do have upgraded turbos, should you be in the market for one. In addition, Mosselman Turbo Systems offers more efficient intake and exhaust systems, oil thermostats, oil coolers, and intercoolers. With an ECU remap, also known as “chip tuning” or “reflash”, the original ECU of the car will be recalibrated on several different engine parameters for more performance. Options like speed limiter removal and start/stop deactivation are available. Please note that an ECU remap will void the factory warranty once detected by a BMW dealer.

The ECU remap will take your BMW M3 G8x to approximately 625 hp and 760 Nm on premium fuel (98 Oct EU/ 93 Oct USA), which is highly recommended. These numbers are indications and depend on the current state of the car and the used fuel.
 



Stage 1+ | ECU Remap + OPF Delete

+ 180hp (660hp) | + 275Nm (825Nm)

The Stage 1+ package adds a Milltek resonated mid-pipe without an OPF filter. Removing the OPF will increase the flow of the exhaust, resulting in better performance and sound!

This package will take your BMW M3 G8x to approximately 675 hp and 850 Nm on premium fuel (98 Oct EU/ 93 Oct USA), which is highly recommended. 

We can supply midpipes from several brands, but we usually prefer Milltek. Their midpipes are available with or without a resonator. We recommend choosing the version with a resonator.


xHP Gearbox Software

For cars with an automatic transmission, we recommend updating the transmission software alongside an ECU remap. Using xHP Gearbox Software, the gearbox shifts more smoothly, and when paired with the remap it delivers impressive results as the torque can be adjusted more precisely. The xHP update is €430 incl. tax

Go for the next step in performance and sound with our Stage 2 ECU remap and sportcat/catless downpipes: a hot and powerful combination. Positioned right after the turbos, the stock catalytic converters are replaced by sport cats for better airflow. The result: extra power and a deeper, louder exhaust sound. In most cases (90 – 100%), cars with sportcats will still pass (Dutch) inspection.

As a budget option, we also offer catless downpipes. However, these come with clear downsides like stronger exhaust smell and a much higher chance of failing inspection.

With the remap and sport downpipes combined, performance increases to around 660 hp and 825 Nm on RON98 fuel. These figures are estimates and can vary depending on the car’s condition and the fuel used. For best results, we recommend filling up exclusively with premium RON98 (Euro) fuel.

This package adds a Milltek resonated mid-pipe without an OPF filter on top of the downpipe. Removing the OPF will increase the flow of the exhaust, resulting in better performance and sound! 

This package will take your BMW M3 G8x to approximately 700 hp and 875 Nm on premium fuel (98 Oct EU/ 93 Oct USA), which is highly recommended.

The iTronic is an advanced engine controller that works simultaneously with the original ECU and is highly recommended on new and young BMW models that still have the factory warranty. It is designed as an external module (tuning box) that can be installed and removed by the end-user, minimizing problems with the factory warranty.

The iTronic connects with a couple of sensors from the car, including the mass airflow sensor and CAN connection. This allows us to read a lot of data of the car. For example, RPM, temperatures, and pedal position. Due to the CAN connection you can also turn the iTronic ON/OFF with the BC button on your steering wheel.

Most of the power boxes doesn’t have a good name in the tuning industry, usually because they don’t deliver what is promised. However there is a difference between tuning with a power box and our iTronic. The iTronic connects with more sensors than a regular power box, like the mass airflow sensor and the CAN-BUS connection. Thanks to these connections additional data, such as the throttle position, is available. We use this information to optimize the car’s software and increase the performance in a safe way.

The iTronic is plug-and-play and requires no modifications to get it installed. We provide an installation manual when you purchase an iTronic, the installation time is approximately 1 hour. Installation can also be done at one of our dealers, they will charge an installation fee though.

The iTronic is specifically developed for cars that still have their warranty. It leaves no traces in the software of the car, and because it’s an external device it can be removed, minimizing problems with the factory warranty. 

No, we don’t offer any warranty on the engine after buying our iTronic. We don’t do this because we don’t know in what condition your engine is before you install the iTronic. However, we designed the iTronic to be harmless to the car and its engine. We do offer great aftersales services to our customers. If you have any problems with the iTronic we will do our best to offer all the help needed to solve the problems. 

The iTronic comes with a 1-year warranty on the components and the software, under normal use during the warranty period. 

The iTronic, and its wiring harness, are specific for each car model. The iTronic can be installed on another car with the same model and engine, but it cannot be installed on different models.
