Milltek OPF Bypass, BMW G29 Z4 M40i B58

Expert's advice:

Since 2018, vehicles have been equipped with an OPF filter (Otto Particulate Filter). This is an additional particulate filter located in the midsection of the exhaust system in petrol engines. The OPF filter reduces particulate emissions but also creates additional back pressure in the exhaust system. This affects performance and also dampens the exhaust sound and overall driving experience.

The Milltek OPF bypass is designed to compensate for the sound-reducing properties of the OPF filter and improve exhaust flow. Removing the OPF filter results in a sportier sound and improved performance.

The Milltek OPF bypass for the BMW G29 Z4 M40i (B58 engine) replaces the midsection of the exhaust and removes the OPF filter. Please note that the vehicle’s software must be adjusted to delete the OPF system.
