Expert's advice:

The Mosselman Upgrade Turbocharger MSL38-50 for the BMW N20 engine (PWG version) increases performance levels with proven reliability. Our N20 turbocharger does not only make your car faster, it is designed to make the car feel better to drive: smoother, stronger and more alive. Airflow is the core of every Mosselman design. By increasing airflow and reducing backpressure, our turbos deliver faster spool, stronger mid-range performance and clean, consistent power right up to the redline, with boost that builds naturally, without lag, surges or sudden steps. Resulting in a predictable, controlled and seamlessly integrated driving experience. Depending on the modifications done to the car and fuel type, this turbo set can deliver up to 500hp!

The Mosselman N20 turbocharger is available for the PWG and EWG models. If you have any doubts about your turbocharger version, feel free to contact us. With the vehicle’s VIN number, we can verify exactly which turbo version you need.

At Mosselman Turbo Systems, every performance turbo begins with precision engineering.

The compressor wheels are CNC-milled from forged billet aluminum for maximum strength and airflow efficiency, while the turbine wheels are built from Inconel or MAR–M to withstand extreme exhaust gas temperatures. Each component is machined to exact tolerances before being assembled into the CHRA, the core of the turbo where strength, sealing and smooth rotation are critical.

Balancing is the defining step in our process. Our turbos operate at speeds up to 200,000 rpm, so every wheel is balanced individually before the complete CHRA is high-speed balanced under oil pressure to replicate real-world conditions. Microscopic corrections are made until the core runs flawlessly, ensuring fast spool, stable boost and long term durability. The result is a compact, high-performance unit that delivers predictable response, clean power delivery and the reliability Mosselman is known for. Engineered to elevate BMW engines far beyond their factory limits.
