KUSHTRIM BISLIMI - BRANCH MANAGER AT MOSSELMAN

Expert's advice:

Lowering the temperature of the charged air and keeping it cool benefits the performance and reliability of the engine. The B48 and B58 engines and their charged air cooler require a different type of upgrade than you are used to. The charge air cooler found in the B48 and B58 engines cools the air with its own water circuit. In turn, this water is cooled with a radiator/heat exchanger by ambient airflow. This system keeps the charged air temperature lower for a longer period of time than an air-to-air intercooler. However, once the water circuit is heated, it also takes a long time for it to cool down.

The Mosselman Heat Exchanger increases the radiator volume massively, from 7,70 Liter (OEM) to 17 Liter (Mosselman). Resulting in better and more stable performance by keeping the temperatures cooler for a longer period of time as well as cooling it down faster when already heated.

The Mosselman Heat Exchanger is Plug & Play (doesn't require any modifications to install it into the car).
