Developing the best possible ECU remap (chiptuning) for a car requires time and intimate knowledge of the vehicle you’re tuning. In order to provide high quality ECU remaps, our mappings are developed exclusively for BMW and MINI cars. Before we add an ECU remap to our line-up, we make sure it’s tested thoroughly on our dyno. Our software is engineered to create a smooth power delivery that keeps going till the redline, without putting your engine at risk. Besides that our Stage 2 and Stage 3 software are designed to get the most out of our Mosselman high-end performance parts.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Installation of the ECU remap and back to stock can be done by any official Mosselman Dealer, or for most cars at home with the iMoss DIY solution that we offer (contact us to confirm the iMoss availability for your model).

Bij een remap (ook wel de chiptuning genoemd) wordt de software van de ECU door ons herschreven en worden parameters geoptimaliseerd wat zorgt voor meer vermogen. Ook is het hierbij mogelijk om de snelheidsbegrenzer te verwijderen en het start/stop systeem indien gewenst uit te schakelen. Houd er rekening mee dat een remap zichtbaar is voor een BMW dealer.

Door het toepassen van de remap kunnen wij een vermogen realiseren van ongeveer 150 pk & 380 Nm op ron98 brandstof. De opgegeven prestaties na tuning zijn indicaties, deze zijn afhankelijk van de huidige staat van de auto en de gebruikte brandstof. We raden dan ook altijd aan om met dit soort auto’s premium brandstof, RON 98 (Euro), te tanken.

xHP Versnellingsbak Software

Als de auto een automaat heeft dan adviseren we om ook de versnellingsbak software te updaten als u kiest voor een ECU remap. Dit doen we met xHP Gearbox Software, hierbij verbetert het schakelgedrag van de versnellingsbak en in combinatie met de remap geeft dit hele mooie resultaten (het koppel kan mooier/beter worden afgesteld).

Bij een ECU remap (ook wel de chiptuning genoemd) wordt de software van de ECU door ons herschreven en worden parameters geoptimaliseerd wat zorgt voor meer vermogen en koppel. Om ervoor te zorgen dat we de beste kwaliteit leveren zijn de Mosselman ECU remaps exclusief ontwikkeld voor BMW- en MINI-auto's.

Wij maken onze eigen software en stellen dit per auto op maat af op onze rollenbank (dyno). Hierbij meten we het vermogen voor en na de tuning en stellen de software op maat af op uw auto. U krijgt dan dus een chiptuning op maat. Houd er rekening mee dat een ECU remap detecteerbaar is voor een BMW dealer, dit kan gevolgen hebben voor de fabrieksgarantie.

When we talk about chiptuning a car (remap), we mean that we adjust the software of your BMW or Mini. This allows us to change the parameters of the engine management system, for an example the fuel injection system, ignition and turbo pressure. We always stay within the limits of the engine, which allows you to enjoy maximum performance under safe engine conditions.

Mosselman Turbo Systems has been the expert in BMW and Mini tuning for over 40 years. Due to our experience and expertise we know exactly how far we can go when we chiptune a car. Over the years we’ve constantly developed and thoroughly tested of our software mappings. We believe it’s very important that our software and performance products don’t have negative impact on the reliability of a car. That’s why made sure every upgrade we perform is completely safe and does not harm the car or it’s engine, if driven under normal conditions.

The fuel consumption after chip tuning will be a bit lower, if driven under normal circumstances. However, if you have more power and torque you will probably use it and this will increase the fuel consumption. You can save fuel with our chip tuning, but it all comes down to how good you are in controlling your right foot.

No, we don’t offer warranty on the engine after buying our chip tuning. We don’t do this because we don’t know how what happened with the car and engine before the chip tuning. Before we start with the tuning we will always read the ECU for fault codes and check the engine visually for possible problems. Due to our experience and expertise we know exactly how far we can go when we chiptune a car. We always stay within the limits of the engine, which allows you to enjoy maximum performance under safe engine conditions.

Chip tuning your car will take approximate 3-4 hours, including optional dyno runs. We have a waiting area with some magazines and coffee to make the waiting comfortable.
