A highly recommended upgrade for the BMW N54 engine
The Mosselman Oil Thermostat is plug-and-play and made out of a solid block of high-grade aluminum at our own facility. It is equipped with a real thermostat, not an always open solution. The oil will still reach the operating temperature at the same time as a stock thermostat.
The oil thermostat is recommended for sporty street driving, where maintaining stable oil temperatures is essential for both performance and engine longevity. For more demanding applications, we also offer dedicated oil cooler kits for the BMW 1-Series E8x and BMW 3-Series E9x models. These kits are designed for vehicles that are pushed to their limits, such as during track use, where maximum cooling capacity is required to support sustained high-performance driving.
